Data Networks

Twisted pair – one of the structured wire cable system components. Widely used in telecommunications and computer network technologies, like Ethernet, Arcnet

Token Ring. Thanks to simple installation and economic price level, it is the most common data transmission solutions to local networks. Using twisted pair, it is possible to organize data network with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s, and for selected models up to 1000 Mbit/s.

With modern technoligies and with the growing demands of the company's computer users needs for faster access to the internet recourses and better optimized file data exchange system, are used optical fiber cables, which are more advantaged than twisted pair cables.

It has:

• High data throughput ( with only one optical fiber is possible to broadcast dozens of information flow – from 100 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s)
• Data transmission in fast speed (without extra repeaters un to dozens of km)
• High data transmission safety
• Flexibility

Wireless data network (Wi-Fi)  is radio technoligy group, which is frequently used by wireless (WLAN) devices. This computer network covers a local area of house, office or a small group of houses.

Compatible devices can make a network with Wi-Fi, using wireless access point, or connected with Ethernet devices, and they can be used as access to the internet.

Potentially Wi-Fi is more unsecured for attacks compared to wired networks, because anyone who are in the network can try to acess the system.
